LiteSide Festival 2012 expands with exciting crossovers from Central Asia

The LiteSide Festival is a showcase for trends in big city culture and entertainment, with the latest cross overs, new discoveries and surprising acts. It is the festival where you can eagerly participate or simply chill out and enjoy yourself. Two days filled with interesting shows and cultural enrichment.

Program
The LiteSide program is multidisciplinary with cross overs between theatre, dance, music, art, workshops, literature, clubbing and film. Highlights include: the ‘Prince of the Ud’ Omar Bashir and band (Iraq / Budapest); the Russian DJ collective PEQ (music producers for the movie Borat); improvisation performance by Night Guests; theatrical diner and cooking demonstration in "Dinner with Dad" by Lucas de Man; the Shimmy Shake Show featuring the famous Spanish fusion belly dancer Morgana. Outdoors and free of charge visitors can enjoy film, exhibitions, debates, spontaneous performances and lounge with special drinks and snacks. Featuring Saturday night an authentic Mongolian barbecue (including vegetarian). 'Dinner with Dad’ also includes a delicious couscous meal. Sunday there are workshops in fusion and belly dance and the LiteSide KIDS special children’s program (4-10 years).  Full program information is available from 21 May on www.liteside.nl.

Times and tickets
Saturday June 30 from 15.00 to 03.00 hours (ends with a swinging club night in Toko MC).

Sunday July 1st from 13:00 to 18.30 hours (early evening close due to the European Football Championships).

Ticket sales start on May 30, both online and at the entrance of the MCTheater. Ticket and booking information is available from May 30 on www.liteside.nl.
